Electrical engineering

There are many reasons why electrotechnical work is essential when renovating a building. Here are some of the main reasons why you might want to call on our general contracting services as part of an overall renovation of your home:

  1. Safety: Electrotechnical work updates obsolete or faulty electrical installations, reducing the risk of fire, short-circuits and other electrical hazards. This helps ensure the safety of building occupants.
  2. Compliance with current standards: Electrical installation regulations and standards are constantly evolving. Electrotechnical work during renovation ensures that the building complies with the latest standards.
  3. Adapting to needs: During a renovation, it is often necessary to revise the electrical configuration to meet the specific needs of the renovated building. This can include the addition of electrical outlets, lighting points, security systems, network cabling, electric car charging stations, etc.
  4. Energy savings: Electrotechnical work can also help optimize a building's energy efficiency. Installing low-energy lighting devices such as LED bulbs, energy regulation or control systems, for example, can reduce the building's overall electricity consumption.

In short, electrotechnical work during building renovation is essential to ensure safety, compliance with standards, adaptation to specific needs and energy efficiency.
