Ateliers Thomquin (and Eric in particular) were
highly recommended to me by a friend who has known
the company for a long time (at the time when Mr. Michel
senior was managing it and then when the son took over the company)
for having dealt with them on many occasions.
Living abroad, I have to be able to count on my
various service providers (we have some rented
properties in which maintenance needs to be done and which
we manage remotely). The selection criteria are
: reliability, reasonable price (the quote is detailed:
each sub-activity is costed, accessibility (I
ask for an answer within 24 hours – by email in most
cases, possibly by phone), qualified and polite staff
and perfect finish. Mr. Michel manages
his projects in an exemplary way (it is obvious that he has
been trained in project management). He is able to
give a precise schedule that he respects (for example
: the work will start in week x, last x days,
end on day x, plan x more days in case of
rain, etc.). He anticipates and prevents any
additional costs or delays (as soon as the estimate is drawn up).
During the work, he keeps me informed (almost
day by day) of the progress of the work. He doesn’t
hesitate to send photos to clarify/clarify
things. He is attentive and responsive (when it is necessary
to adjust the work to be done, for example) He generally works
by email and has the golden rule of responding
within 24 hours maximum. When necessary, he calls
me (possibly at my request when it would be too long
to exchange emails). Eris Michel answers all my
questions directly or sometimes more indirectly
related to the work… for I have confidence in this point of
view. Living at a distance is precious! For all
