I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Ateliers THOMQUIN.
I had my apartment at Le Châtelain in Ixelles completely redone, from floor to ceiling, with a new kitchen and bathroom. The result was exactly what I had hoped for. The strong points of this company are undeniably Mr Eric MICHEL and his team (Mr Valentin and his men/women, and Mrs Dubois): polite, smiling, attentive workers, punctual, respectful of the customer, the timing, the estimate and the "after-sales service".

The result is a high level of security for the owner, who can really sleep at night throughout the project. I'd like to thank the whole team, and Mr Michel in particular, for the quality of the result, achieved within a timeframe that was more than reasonable given the scope of the work. We called on Monsieur Michel and his team to carry out a complete renovation of our living room, including changing the window frames, exposing the walls, installing insulation, a wood insert and semi-solid parquet flooring. The work was carried out impeccably, with the company working very closely with the customer. We also appreciated the detail of the estimate and the way it was followed up. We also benefited from good advice when faced with unforeseen situations. I would recommend Ateliers Thomquin without hesitation.

From the first contact with Eric Michel, the discussion of the estimate, the progress of the work, right through to delivery of the job, everything went smoothly and correctly. Perfect, daily monitoring of the work, open communication and respect for the deadline within which the work was to be carried out ensured that the renovation work went off without a hitch or added stress. The yard was always left tidy, and the construction workers and painters finished everything to the last detail. We have found a reliable contractor in the area with whom we want to work in the future.

We're extremely pleased with the renovation of our home, masterfully carried out by Ateliers Thomquin. The work exceeded our high expectations.
It all began with our first contact with Mr. Eric Michel (company director): an excellent professional, rigorous, with a great eye for detail, attentive and proactive, courteous and pleasant.
Where large-scale projects could have been a source of anxiety, here everything seemed to flow smoothly and seamlessly. The modifications we introduced were systematically analyzed in terms of their impact on each budget item (no nasty surprises), and alternatives were proposed (feasibility, price, aesthetics). Communication was always constant, fluid and transparent.
The icing on the cake was that, on more than one occasion, we saw Mr. Michel's trades achieve results that exceeded our expectations.
At the end of this adventure, this new living space makes us happy (isn't that the main reason for a renovation?). The workmanship is of the highest standard (what a kitchen!), and the collaboration with Ateliers Thomquin was ideal.

Wij konden rekenen op een snelle uitvoering van de vele uiteenlopende werken bij onze quasi-totale renovatie en op deskundige input en advies die ons mogelijke problemen op termijn heeft helpen voorkomen. Les Ateliers Thomquin (and Eric in particular) were highly recommended to me by a friend who has known the company for a long time (when M. Michel père was running it and then when the son took over), having dealt with them on numerous occasions. As I live abroad, I need to be able to rely on my various service providers (we have a few leased properties that require maintenance, which we manage remotely). My selection criteria are: reliability, reasonable price (the quote is detailed: each sub-activity is costed), accessibility (I ask for a response within 24 hours - by email in most cases, possibly by telephone), qualified and polite staff and perfect finish. Mr. Michel manages his projects in an exemplary fashion (it's obvious that he's been trained in project management). He is able to give a precise schedule that he sticks to (e.g.: work will start week x, last x days, finish day x, allow x extra days in case of rain, etc.). He anticipates and warns of any extra costs or delays (as soon as the estimate is drawn up). During the job, he keeps me informed (almost day by day) of progress. He doesn't hesitate to send photos to clarify things. He's a good listener and responsive (when it's time to adjust the work to be done, for example). He generally works by email, and his rule of thumb is to reply within 24 hours. When necessary, he calls me (possibly at my request when it would take too long to exchange emails). Eris Michel answers all my questions, whether directly or sometimes more indirectly related to the work... because I trust this point of view. Living at a distance, that's precious! For all these reasons, I highly recommend this company.
